It’s easy to get lazy this time of year.
The holidays are over. It’s dark, damp and chilly, and tolerable Chicago weather is still three months away. I’m spending my free time huddled by a space heater and have somehow found myself three seasons deep into “The West Wing.”
But a full two months out from this spring’s school board election, Frankfort and area residents turned out to a weeknight forum to question candidates and inform themselves on the people who could forge a path forward for the beleaguered district.
