Frankfort police are seeking two men reportedly involved in the armed robbery of a woman at a Frankfort financial institution in the early morning of Nov. 16.
The woman reported at around 5:50 a.m. a man exited a separate vehicle and approached her with a gun in the 20800 block of South La Grange Road. The man allegedly accessed the woman’s accounts through an ATM, withdrew money and then left with the woman in her vehicle, stopping several times to acquire additional goods and money.
The woman was not harmed during this encounter, according to police.
The first man was described as between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10, thin, black and wearing a black hoodie and blue sweatpants, while the second man was described as between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot 7, black and wearing a dark winter coat that had a fur-trimmed collar.
A third individual was reportedly in the suspects’ vehicle, a black Mercedes SUV, but the description of this person is unknown.
