Oh, the horror — do you remember the “low fat” craze of the 80s and 90s?

It gave fat — namely saturated fat — a bad rep. After talking to some Frankfort residents, they agree it can get confusing when what’s talked in the media in regards to health changes all the time. 

I’ll admit I fell victim to it ... eating toast with no butter, draining the oil off the top of my natural peanut butter, opting for “fat free” cookies and snacks, and throwing out egg yolks.
