A team of four dancers from Hughes-Farrelly School of Irish Dance in New Lenox is going to Ireland Feb. 17-23 to compete at the All Ireland Championships 2019.

Leaving Thursday, Feb. 14, the girls have been working on Irish step dances reel, slip jig and hornpipe for months in preparation.

Besides Irish dance, Hughes-Farrelly has goals for each student, including the improvement of self-discipline, confidence, commitment, a positive attitude and helping others.
