Students at Dr. Julian Rogus Elementary School in Summit Hill School District 161 have been learning and growing.  Throughout the past month and half, first- through fourth-grade students have been preparing for their winter program, “Flakes,” a show written by John Jacobson and John Higgins. The show focused on the fact that everyone is unique and that while “we may be one in a million, the reasons we are special are million and one.”  People need to be accepting and kind to everyone they meet.
