The Frankfort Police department said an officer responded to Walgreens in the 9500 block of Lincoln Highway on July 17 in reference to a complaint of five counterfeit $100 bills that were accepted by the business during a purchase, according to a press release. At approximately 8:15 p.m., a suspect described as a black male wearing a red hat, black shirt with white stripes and black shorts with white stripes allegedly used the counterfeit $500 to reload a prepaid swipe/debit card.
