About three dozen protesters gathered in front of Grand Prairie Elementary School prior to the Sept. 18 Frankfort School District 157-C board meeting after the family of a D157-C student claimed their child was bullied extensively at school and that the district did not take adequate steps to address the matter.

Over the course of an hour, protesters held up anti-bullying posters and recited chants such as “stop bullying now” and “could be your kid, ours today, yours tomorrow.”
