The third-grade students at Indian Trail got a special visit from police dogs on Jan. 16. Two representatives from the Will County Sheriff's Office came with their faithful dogs Malice and Riggs. Both dogs are trained to sniff out criminals and lost items. This visit related to the story the third graders read entitled "Aero and Office Mike" by Joan Plummer Russell. The story is about how a police dog and a police officer work and live together. Malice and Riggs both showed the students their extraordinary abilities to follow commands, chase toys and show their incredible strength.
