To develop an open line of communication, the Lincoln-Way D210 Board of Education approved an intergovernmental reporting agreement that would allow it and the villages in the Lincoln-Way area to share information about arrests and other threat assessments.

The board approved the item at its March 19 meeting to move forward in meeting with mayors and police chiefs of Tinley Park, Frankfort, Manhattan, New Lenox and Mokena. Superintendent Scott Tingley said New Lenox’s and Frankfort’s Village Attorney’s have already approved the agreement.
