With small starry lights flashing in the gym, dates took to the dance floor Friday, Feb. 1, for the Daddy/Daughter Dance at the Founders Community Center.

The Frankfort Park District has held this annual tradition since 1986. While the clothing styles may have evolved throughout the years, the love between fathers and daughters has never changed.

Robert Sterling, of Frankfort, attended the event with his two daughters. It’s the fourth year he and his children have enjoyed spending a night full of dancing and fun together.
