Navigating the renewal process and tests at the driver’s license exam station can be overwhelming for seniors who have to take the exam every four years, but the Illinois Secretary of State’s Driver Services Department is trying to make these services more accessible.

More than 50 elderly Frankfort residents packed into a classroom at the Founders Community Center on March 6 to become familiar with updated driving laws and what to expect during test-taking at the station.

“It never hurts to review,” said attendee Barb Kossuth, of Frankfort.
