Lincoln-Way Central continued on the 18-year-strong tradition of the Special Olympic Games on Thursday, March 7.
The Lincoln-Way mascots lead their teams to the stands as each team shouted its school’s initials back and forth, each time louder than the next.
“The Special Games is a friendly competition between the peer physical education classes of all the local high schools,” Director of Special Services at Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 Mary Harrison said. “Each school chooses a theme for their team and competes in several different athletic categories.”
