With the SouthWest Suburban Conference boys swim meet just over two weeks away, this is the time for local teams to start tuning up.

That was the case last week for Lockport and host Lincoln-Way East as they swam a dual meet against each other on Thursday, Jan. 16 in Frankfort. It was just the third and final home meet for East this season.

The Griffins celebrated Senior Night, then kept their winning ways going with a 117-69 victory over the Porters.
