Hinsdale Central won the first IHSA girls lacrosse state title last season and has been a longtime power going back to the days of it being a club sport.

For a growing Lincoln-Way co-op program, the Red Devils are a team to emulate.

“We see the quickness they have, the camaraderie they have,” East junior Caroline Behrens said. “We have that, too, but we can elevate our game even more to get to that level.

“This gives us an example, kind of a role model of what we want to be and what we definitely can be.”
