Northwestern was the right spot for Lincoln-Way East defensive end/tight end Sean McLaughlin to continue his career, but not just because of the football side of things.

“Definitely the academics were a huge part of it,” McLaughlin said. “They’re second to none. They stack up against Ivy League schools, and their athletics are 10 times better. It’s a degree that can change your life forever.”

McLaughlin announced his commitment to Northwestern last month.
