On Dec. 9, the eighth-grade varsity girls wrapped up their Frankfort Square Wildcat cheer career with a state title. The girls competed for the Illinois Recreational Cheer Association (IRCA) state title and won. The girls cheered the Wildcats on the sidelines throughout the football season. Their grand finale weekend began Dec. 8 when the girls competed in the semi-finals and advanced to the finals the following day.
