When the three Lincoln-Way boys bowling teams battled against each other last week, it really didn’t matter in the standings.

That’s because a new rule was enacted that made the SouthWest Suburban Conference matchups not factor into the standings. It used to be that the dual meets, coupled with the conference tournament at the end of the regular season, determined the conference champion. But a recent change means that now only the conference tourney will determine the champion.
